The Beatles hit town and everybody in the neighborhood started playing guitar, practicing in the garage, doing CYO dances,. Playing in a band….so cool. All thru high school, touring the south learning along the way from a Psychedelic Power trio to a Seven Piece Soul Band. Nothing but good times, great friendships and irreplaceable memories.

Moved to California the summer of ’69, met some great musicians at Diablo Valley Junior College and was able to play enough gigs and continue my education. Studied string bass and earned a BA in Music from Cal. St Hayward in 1977. Played everything from bluegrass to swing to funk to disco prior to settling down and raising a family. It has been and continues to be one of my great joys to have my children involved in music as well. They all have great potential.

Even though it’s now part time, I’ve been fortunate to hook up with some of the best musicians around Contra Costa County through the years and hope to be actively involved for many more to come.
